  1. The Hill House one is kinda awesome. YES, Miss Peregrine is a super creepy cover, and 30 Days of Night? NIGHTMARE MATERIAL. Goosebumps were always so scary though. I'm deadly afraid of ventriloquists' dummies, so when this - http://img1.fantasticfiction.co.uk/images/n6/n31002.jpg - came into our bookshop I was really hoping it sold fast. Naturally, it stuck around for about four months, and every time I had to rearrange the children's section I got the heebie jeebies! :)

    1. There really is something strange about ventriloquists' dummies. The Night of the Living Dummy is one of the most popular books with the boys in my school so I'm constantly checking that book in and out and having to hold copies of it for them behind my desk- shudder!

  2. Seeing those clown covers in blog posts today have really made me want to read "It"... Also that 30 Days of Night is highly disturbing.

    1. I never finished "It". Clowns don't normally frighten me, but something about this book just struck me as I was reading it!
